WHO IS THE WABASH VALLEY COIN CLUB?
The Wabash Valley Coin (and currency) Club is a non-profit organization devoted to the study and promotion
of numismatics and numismatic knowledge in general. The club was founded in 1959. It meets on the 4th Tuesday
of each month, except holidays, at a place to be determined. The Vigo Library has been off limits due to the
pandemic so for now we're meeting at the MCL Cafeteria in the Meadows Shopping Center. We'll plan to eat dinner at 6:30pm
in one of their meeting rooms. Meetings start at 7:00pm Eastern Time, and are open to the
public. The Wabash Valley Coin Club is affiliated with the American Numismatic Association, Central States Numismatic
Society, and the Indiana State Numismatic Association.
DOES THE CLUB HAVE A COIN SHOW?
Indeed, the club hosts bi-annual coin shows. A Sunday in August each year, and one very early
in the year around February. The show has mostly dealers from Illinois and Indiana present.
Show hours are from 9am to 3pm Eastern Time. Admission and parking is free. For more information, please
click on the Annual Coin Show link at the top of this webpage.
